Thank you for making us feel so welcome. We have had a wonderful few days. We came stressed and go back home feeling very relaxed. If only we could stay longer. The meal on Thursday evening was first class, amazing bed, great bike riding on the Tarka Trail, I could go on for ages! We will be back to see you, Mr Tibbs, and the gorgeous pigs.

Wonderful stay. Will tell all our friends! Gary and Erica are great hosts. And the bed! We slept and slept, and then looked out the window at the sheep, the pheasants and the clouds. High marks to Rosemoor and Gidleigh. The roads are kind of narrow though.

Quality location for a break. Top notch hosts, location, food, pool and local pub. If you've not been to Lake Farmhouse then go, otherwise you are missing out!

Our stay at Lake Farmhouse was absolutely superb. Our hosts were very generous and friendly and made us feel at home the moment we stepped over the threshold. The food was second to none as was the cleanliness and quality of our room. The setting was perfect for the peaceful relaxation we desired but was close to activities should we have wanted to do them. The local pub was a gem. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday with thoroughly enjoyable people. We hope to visit again this year and take advantage of the garden design classes run by Erica to enable us to finally sort out our own garden at home.
