Devon

Devon has a lot more to offer than cream teas and thatched cottages. It has two cities, two coast lines and two moors so its hardly surprising that that there is something to do all year round.

In addition to cycling, playing golf and visiting gardens there are plenty of attractions within an hour's drive of Lake Farmhouse.

Exeter
A great day out with lots to do. Shopping is plentiful and varied - look down the side streets for the more unusual places. The cathedral and the surrounding cafes are a quiet haven. There are 14th century underground passages to explore and plenty of places for lunch. The quayside is a lovely place to relax and watch the world go by.
